Today’s SAT question of the day is possibly the shortest sentence completion question I’ve ever seen. All we know is that Joe Louis inspired fear is his opponents, so he was a feared fighter.

Our answer choices:

• serene: placid, calm
• impetuous: hasty (** top 100 words alert! **)
• insipid: boring, common (** top 100 words alert! **)
• malleable: easily changed
• redoubtable: must mean fear-inspiring (and, luckily, it does!)
