SAT Question of the Day Explained – February 22, 2014 – Sentence Completion, Two Blanks

Today’s SAT question of the day is an easy two-blank sentence completion.  We need words for rain showers that help crops ______ and, in contrast, ______ storms. Rain helps crops to grow well, while storms are rougher and more dangerous. Today, A is the only answer choice that offers words that fit both blanks!

Remember that two-blank sentences offer you twice as many chances to find the correct answer and twice as many chances to eliminate wrong options.  They’re almost always worth your time!
