Today’s SAT question of the day is a writing question; the format is like the “old” test, but the content is helpful for the “new” SAT, too!
Do you hear the error? Is “waiting” the right verb? “We waiting until later.” Nope, not in my English!
How about “wait”? It matches the first part of the sentence: “We can have,” “We can wait.”
There’s an answer choice that says that whole phrase: “we can wait”. However, that’s not the right answer in this case, because “wait” on its own tells us everything we need to know. If you get stuck between two answer choices that both seem perfect, use the shortest one to avoid being wordy (verbose, if you’re fancy).
